Colombia Francy Castillo

Finca La Indonesia is located in La Unión, 90 km from Pasto. Thanks to the efforts of farmers like Frank and Francy Cortes, this area has been transformed from an area of ​​illicit trade and violence to a resilient community dedicated to growing specialty coffee. 
This farm is an inheritance from the Torres family, known for its exceptional coffee production for more than 40 years. 

Frank and Francy inherited a portion of this farm and are in charge of overseeing all processing and farming practices. Francy gets involved in the coffee business as a buyer alongside Frank, buying green coffee for exporters and importers.This network of experience has helped him push the
boundaries of processing, making his farm one of the most unique and innovative in Colombia. His continued efforts to improve agricultural practices have helped him convert 90% of his farm to organic as a way to preserve soil conditions and protect his crops from pests and devastation. Their continued efforts to improve their post-harvest techniques are evident in the extraordinary complexity and sweetness of this year's harvest.
